Various Solutions

Feasibility Assessment

  • It is recommended that Clients request a feasibility assessment on their power usage and to have an accurate sizing of the Solar System designed to match these load requirements. 12 months of electricity accounts will also be required.
  • The cost of such an assessment which will take 10 days to 1 month (as we have to connect a data logger onto the electric circuit to monitor loads and this will carry a charge of R750).
  • Should the Customer accept the proposal from Solaris Energy SA, this will be credited against the cost of the system.
  • Customers may however elect to choose a Solar PV kit themselves without having an assessment done , however this may not match the load requirements and provide the ideal solution for them.

Hybrid Grid Tied Inverter with
solar PV and battery

Reducing electricity costs and providing continuous electricity during load-shedding.

Grid Tied

Inverter with Solar PV only to reduce daytime electricity costs only. No battery , so no backup during power outages

Hybrid Grid Tied with
Battery Back up only

For convenience only during power outages, however no electricity cost savings

Off-Grid

Disconnect from the Eskom or Municipal main supply and install an inverter battery and solar pv system with a generator to be completely self-sufficient in energy production
